Interesting people and plots
We in the oil field shake our heads at the inaccuracies and explosions/blowouts of rural life. The technical glitches in the first three episodes are embarrassing, and their technical advisor messed up everything in the blowdown scene. An old valve stuck, the 24-inch pipe wrench (applied backwards and hammered on top?

100% wrong. No hammer unless it’s a brass hammer (i.e. no sparks)?
A chaotic technical director
No experienced post-oilfield crew would have done that. Then Billy is seen as a «landman» trying to blow it down (I’ve never seen a Landman on location) He convinces the wrench and hits his finger. I’ll stick with the story in the latest streaming selection of movies and TV shows coming to Paramount+ this month.
