However, he did pitch the idea for a third film and was involved as an executive producer. The first two Paddington films were great fun and full of charm, with some great scenes.
This film never quite gets going and you wonder what happened to the writers
Overall, the performances are a bit clumsy or barely polished, and there are very few laughs. It’s a shame because Paddington 2 in particular was a gem, mainly due to Hugh Grant, who was excellent but ably supported by the prison crew.
Paddington 3 is very average in comparison
it needed a much better script, developed characters and funnier action scenes. An hour after watching it you probably won’t remember it at all…
